Located at the end of Bude canal this new stunning building provides a welcome rest for walkers and cyclists using the nearby cycle route.
- The new building brings together an interpretation centre and tea room that nestles into the side of a steep hill on the edge of a newly created lake. The building is clad using cedar weatherboarding and has a low profile zinc roof which gentle rises towards the views beyond. The front elevation has a long stretch of full height windows that open onto a raised deck which cantilevers out over the lake
- The scheme offers a contemporary solution that respects the sensitivity of the rural landscape.
