The Anchorage

Located in the popular seaside Devon village of Croyde Bay this project involved the refurbishment and modernisation of an existing two-storey house. The ground floor has been completely gutted to form a large open plan space and a new glazed conservatory has been added to transform the internal space.

The large full height doors all slide to allow the internal space to open out onto the deck area that over looks the garden to views beyond of Croyde Bay. A metal staircase with solid oak timber treads and frameless glass balustrades, leads to the refurbished bedrooms on the first floor. A two storey extension was also added to the side of the existing house to provide an additional master bedroom with ensuite. Glass balconies were introduced above the conservatory which provide distant views across the bay.
