The clients wanted to increase the size of the kitchen and dining area and also wanted to create a separate study for the clients graphic design business.

The unashamedly contemporary extension protrudes into the existing well laid out garden and provides a better outlook.

The zinc roof wraps around the extension to enclose the new studio space on the side of the house and creates a very visually distinctive new addition to this house. The large areas of glazing slide back to give access onto the large decked area which steps down into the garden.
