Victoria Gardens - Camelford

Located in the North Cornish market town of Camelford, this development of 127 properties is a mixed use scheme, with open market and affordable housing.

Our brief was effectively to design a whole new village on the edge of Camelford, creating a collection of high quality new homes. There is a large variety of house types, and the scheme is characterised by a number of traditional features, such as village streets and greens, “back lanes”, a formal square plus a major landscaping scheme.

The main phase of the development is now nearing in completion and has been much acclaimed by purchasers and North Cornwall District Council Planning Department, who recognise that the approach that Trewin Design have taken, embraces the philosophies behind PPG3 and village development.
