The Connexions Centre forms part of a major town centre redevelopment within the heart of Bodmin in Cornwall. The project is located on the site of a dilapidated Grade II Listed hotel which had a frontage onto the main high street.

Connexions is a public service set up by the Government to provide information and advice to young people between 14-19 and support for those with learning difficulties up to the age of 25 years. The scheme provides a new 3 storey building with direct access from the high street into the Connexions public users areas. The upper floors provide 1700m2 of office space for the Connexions staff and management. The lower ground level provides a 'Drop-in Centre' which is open and managed day and night for the use of local young people.

The site is within the Conservation Area and the design respects the historical context and reflects other traditional buildings in the town centre. The design is fully DDA compliant which has been achieved by creatively utilizing the steep levels in a way that provides wheelchair access to multiple entrances which provides access to a central lift core providing vertical access to all floors.
