Trewin Design Partnership contract managed completion of installation for the first indoor swimming pool of its type, which does not require any chemical water treatment. The water in the pool is balanced by a series of buffered and settlement tanks with final treatment through a bed of water plants before the water returns to the pool via a high level rill.

The exciting lightweight contemporary timber clad building sits under a sedum clad roof set into a steep bank. The slate lined pool is heated by a communal woodchip boiler which also provides heating for adjoining residential properties.

The pool building forms part of the residential scheme involving major conversions.
