Catching up with Red for National Apprenticeship Week

We are currently celebrating #NationalApprenticeshipWeek at Trewin Design Architects let us introduce you to Red.

Red always showed a keen interest in design from using autodesk and revit software at school. Upon moving to North Devon in 2014, he enrolled with Petroc College to study a Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment, as well as undertaking A levels in Graphic Design and Environmental studies.

We spotted Red’s potential and passion and are pleased to say that he is about to embark upon a Higher Advanced Apprenticeship with us. Currently working on commercial projects as well as private residential, Red is utilising our innovative design technology for projects throughout the South West.

Our commitment to employing , nurturing and training  young creatives has always been a strong part of our company ethos. We value our close links with local schools and colleges and actively engage with them, offering work experience placements and opportunities for students to work alongside us. We often give talks at careers evenings throughout the local area and engage with both parents and students, encouraging a dialogue regarding career pathways into the industry.

We are particularly proud of our training facilities when offering full professional support to many who have gone on to pursue their careers further within the industry.

As part of National Apprenticeship Week we are seeking an apprentice for next year to join our award winning practice. If you are interested and wish to pursue a career in Architectural Technology, then please get in contact with us.
